SATURDAY
Start 10am in classroom to talk milky way shooting techniques and tips for processing
images
Lunch break at 1 pm
Head to location and photograph Teton landscapes 5p.m.
Sun sets at 8:30pm
Milky Way begins 10:15 pm, done by 11:15 pm
SUNDAY
Start 2 pm in the classroom to discuss images and go over previous night
Dinner break at 5 pm
Head to location 7 pm
Sun sets at 8:30pm
Milky Way begins 10:15 pm, done by 11:15 pm

Workshop limited to 6 clients with Tristen & Neil as guides and instructors
milky way summary points:
- timing & location (visibility and position in the night sky)
- long exposure camera settings (aperture, shutter speed & ISO)
- composition, angles and juxtaposition
- everyone will get a chance to use our star tracker
- star trails & star stacking
- low level lighting and flash light painting
- post-processing: image stacking, color correction, noise reduction, etc.
Necessary Gear:
- cable shutter release (name-brand or generic) ($10- $80)
- headlamp that has a white and red setting
- tripod
- wide angle lens (minimum 35mm)
Have you always wanted to learn astro photography and the various techniques to capture the night sky? We can't think of a more beautiful backdrop than the stunning peaks of the Tetons and surrounding landscapes.

A deposit of $1000 will hold your place in the workshop. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to the workshop. Deposit is non refundable unless your spot is filled, in which case it will be refunded. This same policy applies to the full tuition after it is paid.
