Timeline:

SATURDAY
Start in classroom at 12pm to discuss cameras and editing Dinner Break 4-6pm
Second session from 6-9pm
9pm sunset

SUNDAY
Meet at 6am in Jackson for a 6am sunrise Lunch break from 12-5pm
Shoot from 5-9pm
Get to Know Your Camera Summary Points:
- in-class and outdoors
- learning manual mode settings: shutter speed, aperture, ISO) - f-stops and depth of field definitions
- post-processing, Lightroom/Photoshop basics
Prerequisite Knowledge:
- none

REQUIRED CAMERA GEAR:
- Digital SLR camera & manual
- telephoto and/or wide angle lens
Highly Recommended Gear:
- wide angle lens
- telephoto lens
- tripod (for those interested in landscape photography)
- polarizer filter (for those interested in landscape photography) - computer & editing software at home (Photoshop/Lightroom)

ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO BRING:
- hat & sunglasses
- warm, weather-proof layers
- sturdy footwear & warm socks - rain jacket
- sunblock & insect repellant - small towel/rag

WINTER LANDSCAPE & WILDLIFE WORKSHOP
$6200 for 4 days
Sunday February 2, 2025 – Thursday February 6, 2025
Arrive Feb. 1st, workshop 2-6, depart Feb. 7th

TIMELINE:
February 1st arrive in West Yellowstone
February 2, 3 Snow Coach out of West
February 4th travel day to Gardiner
February 5th, 6th Northern Range
February 7th depart

PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATION:
Yellowstone National Park

DETAILS:
3 nights lodging in West Yellowstone
3 nights lodging in Gardiner Montana
Transportation to and from Bozeman Airport available
Breakfast and Lunch included 
Workshop limited to 4 clients with Tristen & Neil as guides and instructors

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GEAR:
- tripod or monopod for wildlife
- wide angle lens in the 24-70mm range for landscapes
- 400mm or longer lens for wildlife
- extra batteries and charger for in the car
- rain cover/snow cover  (Lenscoat Brand)

ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO BRING:
- heated gloves
- beanie,base layers,fleece lined or snow pants
- snow boots & warm socks - down coat

Flights and tips not included 
Air travel should be booked in and out of Bozeman, Montana

Travel Insurance (recommended)
A deposit of $3000 will hold your place in the workshop. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the workshop. Deposit is non refundable unless your spot is filled, in which case it will be refunded. This same policy applies to the full tuition after it is paid.
